Background:
Michael is a graduate of Cambridge University in the
United Kingdom, with an honours degree in Natural Sciences.
After serving as a Vice President at Ernst & Young,
Michael pursued a career in the field of private equity
and attended Harvard Business School.
Price Waterhouse
Coopers, and six years at Ernst & Young: Michael
has over nine years of highly distinguished experience
in Mergers & Acquisitions, including three at Price
Waterhouse Coopers, and six at Ernst & Young, where
he presented strategic reviews to client boards, covering
topics such as international growth options, divestments,
debt restructuring options, and public-to-private transactions.
Microsoft
: He is an executive in the corporate finance
department of Microsoft where he administers the firm’s
extensive mergers and acquisition activities as well
as strategic financing decisions.

Teaching
is Michael’s passion. He has conducted corporate
finance and M&A training programs for all entering
analysts at Ernst & Young. Michael is also an ambitious
athlete. He enjoys long-distance running and completed
the Marathon Des Sables in the Sahara Desert (250km
Ultramarathon) in 2001, raising $20,000 for London Children’s
Hospital. |
